Carm and I had a fantastic time in NYC/Long Island over the weekend. We caught a Yankees game, a comedy show, and even got a glimpse at the subway rats late night.

First, I have to say thanks to Aunt Tammy for getting us some awesome seats. I hate the Yankees, but The Stadium is pretty special…

The game was fun, although it always hurts me a little inside to root for the Yankees - I’ll admit that I was a little afraid to stand up and say anything negative for fear of being pelted by beer and hot dogs.

After the game we went back to Manhatten to meet Kim, and ran into some guys pushing comedy club tickets in Times Square - I think there’s always someone there hawking these things, but we bit and managed to grab 3 VIP passes for 30 bucks (reg. $60). It ended up being a riot…despite the $52 bar tab (we only bought 6 beers total) we had an absolute blast. I really couldn’t complain.

Our way back to the subway and 7th Avenue consisted of several bar stops at which a few pitchers were ingested and some interesting pictures were taken…

All in all, a fantastic day and night. Thanks to all who made it happen - even the drunken annoying boys from Long Island whom we shared the train with on the way back.
