Come hear Uncle John’s Band…

We caught our first Ratdog show at the Rochester Auditorium - all around it was a pretty good show. I don’t know much about Bobby’s post-Dead music, but they did not disappoint in the least:

I: Jam > Shakedown Street > She Belongs to Me > Easy Answers > Money for Gasoline, Crazy Fingers > Brown-Eyed Women, Easy to Slip > Lazy River Road > Big Railroad Blues
II: Deep Elem Blues > Fever > Victim or the Crime, I Need a Miracle > Uncle John’s Band > The Other One > Stuff > Dear Prudence > Uncle John’s Band (reprise) > One More Saturday Night
E: Ripple, Touch of Grey

The killer Shakedown to open the first set had the place bouncing, and Crazy Fingers > Brown Eyed Women carried the momentum through to the end of the set. The last half of the second set was great fun, broken up nicely by a great version of Prudence. Touch of Grey was (shockingly) a nice surprise to me in the encore and it left everyone feeling a little better about life.
