While the formalities of a contract extension and physical make the trade not quite official, the Twins agreed to trade Johan Santana to the Mets for 4 prospects (none of them named Fernando Martinez). As a Mets fan I’m thrilled at the idea of throwing a rotation of Pedro, Santana, Ollie, Maine, and El-Duque/Pelfrey out there this season at the NL.
